Rhett Marshall
CEO
Rhett has been working in the HVAC industry for 38 years and has been the co-owner of Air Design Heating and Cooling for 29 years. He has a business degree from Brigham Young University. Rhett has said a thousand times over the years that his coworkers at Air Design are the secret to the success of the company. He firmly believes that employing the best employees in the industry is why Air Design has achieved decades of success. When not at work, Rhett is an avid fly fisherman, golfer, and skier, but his favorite hobby is spending quality time with his family.
Gene Anderson
President
Gene has worked in the HVAC industry for 35 years. He started his career at Marshall’s Heating where he learned the trade from his father-in-law Don Marshall, the owner of Marshall’s. Gene started Air Design Heating and Cooling in 1995 with his brother-in-law Rhett Marshall. “29 years has flown by, it’s the best working alongside your best friends and family.” In his spare time he loves digging holes anywhere with his tractors and riding anything with an engine.
Jase Marshall
CFO
Jase has been working in the HVAC industry for 13 years in everything from new construction and service, to operations and management. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and a Masters in Business Administration from Western Governors University. Jase loves working for a small business where he’s able to see the positive impacts from small operational changes. When he’s not working, Jase loves fly fishing, camping, and spending time with his wife and kids.
Chuck Wagaman
Engineering
Chuck has worked in the HVAC industry for over 29 years with specific training and knowledge in manual J, D, and S. Chuck has completed more than 15,000 manuals. Chuck is utilized by various municipalities as an expert and for training plan reviewers with Manuals J, D, and S.
Brandon McMullin
Service/Finish/Retrofit
Brandon has been working in the HVAC industry for 32 years. In that time he has worked in every department from new installs to retrofit. He has a love for learning how things work which naturally led him toward the service end of the industry. For the last 20 Years he has enjoyed working to help train the other service techs at Air Design “I believe we have the best and most conscientious service techs in the industry. Who genuinely care about doing what is best for the customer.” Brandon has many industry certifications including RMGA, Nate, and VRF. He enjoys working alongside his friends and spending his spare time with his family in the outdoors.
Celsey Bodily
Business Manager
Celsey was born and raised in the construction industry. As a little girl, she would go on HVAC finishes with her dad and put in all the heat registers. She has been working at Air Design for 18 years. Celsey has a BS in economics from the University of Utah. She is responsible for Air Design’s HR, payroll, marketing, and social media. She thrives when problem solving and making efficiency improvements. She loves the building process from start to finish and enjoys walking job sites and seeing projects come to life. Celsey is a mom to 4 adorable kids. She spends her extra time traveling and hosting any type of event that will bring her family and friends together.
Jack Norton
Shop Manager
Jack has been working in the HVAC industry for 23 years. He’s tasked with ordering and managing all inventory, maintaining our fleet of ~50 vehicles, and making sure the installers have everything they need to perform a quality install. His favorite part about working at Air Design is helping other people accomplish tasks they didn’t think were possible and the look on a homeowner’s face after solving their problems. When not working, Jack can be found on Strawberry Reservoir fishing, playing music, or spending time with his family.
Russ Anderson
Sales Manager
Russ has been in the HVAC industry for over 28 years, and has spent the entire duration with Air Design. Russ learned the trade by installing new HVAC systems for home builders. He has worked on everything from small multi-family homes to large custom homes and has loved every aspect of the job. Russ then moved onto managing an install branch of Air Design where he and his group installed 7-8 new systems per day. For the past 15 years, Russ has been over our outside sales, tasked with helping homeowners solve any and all issues with their HVAC. When not working, Russ loves to golf and spend time at the pool with his wife, kids, and 3 grandchildren.
Luke Timothy
New Construction Manager
Luke has been working in HVAC for 26 years, and 36 years in the construction industry. Luke manages about 40 installers, and oversees the installation of 7 houses each day. Luke says Air Design has been a great company to work for that has taken great care of his family and has been a great place to work for. Luke enjoys the management aspect of his job. He loves meeting his crews on the jobsite and problem solving. Luke enjoys golfing and hunting in his spare time.
Lance Hudson
Office Manager
Lance has been in the HVAC industry since September 2001. He started with installation of new construction homes and then moved into the service side of things. He was then moved into the office in November 2009 where he has been ever since. Lance handles a few different things; Dispatch, customer service, billing, some accounting, etc. He has an incredible ability to stay calm in escalated situations and is amazing at multitasking. When he is not working he enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time at his cabin and camping with his family. He is married to an amazing wife and has 2 adult sons that they love dearly.
Cameron Anderson
Quality Control Manager
Cameron grew up in the construction industry and has spent most of his life on job sites around the Wasatch front. He has been at Air Design for 12 Years. He started working in the metal shop, went into the field installing HVAC systems, and is now our Quality control manager. He has moved up through the ranks due to his work ethic, likable personality, and his constant stream of ideas to help the business be successful. In his free time Cameron likes to travel, fish, go camping, ride anything with a motor, and spend time with his friends and family.
Dale Gygi
New Construction Foreman
With 35 years of experience in the construction industry–27 of those dedicated to HVAC–Dale Gygi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Over the years, he has honed the skills necessary to excel in the trade, making him a trusted professional in heating and air conditioning. Dale takes pride in his work and enjoys the challenge of delivering top-quality HVAC solutions. Outside of work, Dale enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Shawn Hortin
New Construction Foreman
Shawn Hortin has been a dedicated member of the Air Design team since 1997. Starting as an installer, he worked his way up to become a new construction foreman, bringing years of hands-on experience and leadership to every project. Shawn thrives on the camaraderie among his coworkers and enjoys collaborating with builders to ensure each job is completed efficiently and to the highest standard. When he’s not on the job, Shawn loves spending time with his family, raising horses, and hunting.
Greg Thurman
Service Foreman
With 27 years of dedication to our team, Greg Thurman is a cornerstone of our company. His favorite part of the job is getting to work with people–building relationships and ensuring every project runs smoothly. Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending quality time with his family and pets. His experience, loyalty, and people-first approach make him an invaluable part of our team.
